How do I access my Customer Account

Your Customer Account allows you to access all your orders from a single page. This can be accessed via your unique login URL here.

I've lost my Order/Download email

I haven't received an invoice or download link

When you purchase a product you should immediately be sent a confirmation of your order email. This email contains information about your order and a link to download the product. (This is usually a PDF that takes you to Dropbox to download the product from there.)

Please check your spam/junk folders to see if the email has ended up in there.

If you have not received it, you can always see your orders and download your products from your customer account.

Can you create a custom template or resource for me?

Absolutely, please head on over to January Made Design, where I work 1:1 with biz owners and entrepreneurs to create beautiful, bespoke design solutions.

Why do some of the templates/resources have January Made Design branding on them?

Great question! January Made Design is the sister business to Creative Process Collective and the place where all templates were originally designed and published. All current templates will have some form of JM branding on them but moving forward all new templates/resources will either be free of branding OR have CPC branding added to them.

I see these templates sold on Creative Market and Etsy, and are all slightly different prices. Why is this?

As a small business, CPC/January Made needs eyes on templates for exposure and sales. This means that we will sell templates on other online shops as well as our website to ensure everyone can find and use our amazing products.

Because every platform is different and takes a different % of sales, the end price can vary ever so slightly across platforms.

We recommend just using whichever works for you (whether that is the website, or Etsy, or Creative Market) as you may have a current account or credits with them.

Can I download a product order to my phone?

No, I would not recommend it UNLESS you are able to save it to your Dropbox or Google Drive folder to access and edit with your desktop/laptop computer.

All Adobe Indesign and Photoshop templates are created to be downloaded and edited on a desktop/laptop computer.

All Canva templates are also designed to only be edited on desktop/laptop computer, so I would recommend doing this straight from your desktop OR ensuring when you save your product to your phone that you save it to where you can access it from your desktop/laptop.

Why does a product have the same name but have different prices?

You may have noticed the price is different between some products, even if the product seems to have the same name. The easy answer is that one is totally editable (Indesign) while one is read only (PDF).

Pdfs are generally suited to non-designers or creative clients wanting to use the product for education. These are a quick grab and go format.

Indesign templates are generally suited to designers or creatives familiar with the software and wanting to edit it themselves to then pass on to their own clients or customers. These are intended to be edited by the designer and have layers, grids and typography formatting.

What's the difference between the PDF and the Indesign version of some products?

What can I customise within a template?

If you have purchased any editable file type (such as an Indesign or Canva file), you can add, edit and remove any pages or design elements as you like to turn this design into something entirely customised for your business. Colours and fonts can be easily updated as well as images and branding. Not to forget all the content so it really pops with your own personal brand tone.

Will you teach me how to design or how to use Indesign/Photoshop/Canva?

No. Unless specifically stated, all digital products are for making your creative process better, not how to design or how to use the design software. All products will come with very basic Help Docs but the aim is to provide process resources, with the assumption you already know how to design or have basic working knowledge of the software.

Do I need a Canva account to use the Canva files?

I do not have Photoshop/Indesign/Other product software required, can I edit it on xxx instead?

Digital products on CPC can only be opened on the software or platfrom mentioned in the product description, and will not work with any other software/platform.

Please read the requirements carefully before purchase and make sure you have access to the software/platform they can be edited on.

Can I use Photoshop Elements to edit templates?

Unfortunately not. You will need Adobe Photoshop CS4 (CC recommended) and above to open and edit these files (if you do not wish to use Canva).

Are images or mockups included?

No. All images and mockups used for context only and are not included.
